Happy Birthday Boo!!!

November 5, 2021 in Holidays, Lifestyle - No Comments

Sharing all the details on Callie’s THIRTEENTH birthday!!!!

We aligned on the theme of “Hey Boo!” and she really wanted to make sure that we stuck to the white, black and pink theme–so we did!

We loved the Meri Meri tablescape items and the Party Haus balloons–both companies were super quick to ship and easy to work with!

For goodie bags we did “Smores” with little ghost marshmallows–they were a hit!

Her cake was absolutely fabulous.  It was exactly what we envisioned.  The white chocolate ghosts and the messy deconstructed pink icing plus the fact that it was DELISH just made Callie’s day even more special!

I know I say it every year….but I can’t believe how old she is getting!  It feels like I literally blinked and she’s a full grown teenager.

Happy Birthday Boo!!!

For the women blooming in unexpected places…..

For the women blooming in unexpected places…..

Hi Y'all

Hi, I’m Jaime — writer, mother, storyteller, and the heart behind The Wildflower Edit. For nearly a decade, I wrote online as The Princess and the Prosthetic, sharing my daughter’s journey with disability and the lessons our family learned along the way. It was a beautiful season — full of advocacy, connection, and community — but as my daughter grew older, I felt a shift. She deserved more autonomy. More privacy. More room to decide how she shows up in the world. And I realized something else: My own story was expanding too. Motherhood was still here. Disability was still here. But so were grief, healing, womanhood, nervous system care, feminine energy, homemaking, identity, softness… the fuller, deeper pieces of life that were ready to be spoken aloud. Whether you come for the cozy routines, the motherhood reflections, the disability advocacy, or the soft life inspiration — thank you for choosing to share this space with me. Pour a warm drink. Settle in. Let’s grow a life that feels like you again.
