I’m Jaime — a writer, editor, and mother learning how to live after survival mode.
For a long time, my world revolved around holding things together. Motherhood. Disability. Grief. The invisible emotional labor of caring deeply and constantly. Somewhere along the way, I realized I didn’t just want to endure my life — I wanted to feel present inside it again.

The Wildflower Edit was born from that shift.
This space is an editorial home for women reclaiming their identity, softening their pace, and learning to bloom in ways that don’t follow a prescribed path. I write about modern womanhood, emotional resilience, nervous system health, disability-informed living, slow home practices, seasonal rituals, and the quiet work of becoming yourself again.
Disability will always be part of my story. My daughter has taught me more about strength, difference, and grace than any book ever could. As she grows older, I’m intentionally giving her more autonomy and privacy — allowing her to show up in the world in ways that feel authentic to her. That choice shaped this evolution: a wider lens, a deeper breath, and a more spacious way of telling our story.

Here, you’ll find thoughtful essays, lifestyle guides, journal prompts, and gentle rituals — not to fix your life, but to help you edit it with care. To keep what feels true. To release what no longer fits. To trust that blooming doesn’t require perfection or permission.
This is a space for softness without apology.
For honesty over hustle.
For women learning to bloom in their own way.
