A quick catch up post on all things #lifelately !

San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo

Our girl got to participate in a demonstration at the San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo this year–for those not local to Texas, this is a HUGE deal.  There are over a million visitors to the Rodeo each year!  She came ALIVE on the mic and thoroughly enjoyed talking to the crowds and sharing about her experience with adaptive/therapeutic horseback riding.

Archery

Callie has recently started archery!  She practices with an adaptive league called Kinetic Kids and is SO excited about it.  She has a fantastic aim and we’re now working on building up her upper body strength.

Hanging out at the Ranch

We spent part of Spring Break at the ranch–time clearing some of the back roads on the property and building a chicken coop!

Callie Shoots a COMMERCIAL!!!

Callie had an amazing opportunity to shoot her very first commercial.  We will share the actual links and full commercial when it airs later this month but here’s a few behind the scenes pics!

For the women blooming in unexpected places…..

For the women blooming in unexpected places…..

Hi Y'all

Hi, I’m Jaime — writer, mother, storyteller, and the heart behind The Wildflower Edit. For nearly a decade, I wrote online as The Princess and the Prosthetic, sharing my daughter’s journey with disability and the lessons our family learned along the way. It was a beautiful season — full of advocacy, connection, and community — but as my daughter grew older, I felt a shift. She deserved more autonomy. More privacy. More room to decide how she shows up in the world. And I realized something else: My own story was expanding too. Motherhood was still here. Disability was still here. But so were grief, healing, womanhood, nervous system care, feminine energy, homemaking, identity, softness… the fuller, deeper pieces of life that were ready to be spoken aloud. Whether you come for the cozy routines, the motherhood reflections, the disability advocacy, or the soft life inspiration — thank you for choosing to share this space with me. Pour a warm drink. Settle in. Let’s grow a life that feels like you again.

Jaime
