Sneak Peek of The Princess & The Prosthetic eBook cover!

January 27, 2021 in Disability & Inclusion - No Comments

We wanted to give everyone a sneak peek of the ebook cover!

We know what you are thinking….eBook cover?  YES!!!  We are publishing an eBook in conjunction with our children’s book! We are still working on the (extremely) long process to get our children’s book published but I also wanted an avenue to create things that would leave a legacy for Callie and continue to advocate for people like her.  I couldn’t think of anything better than taking some of our lessons, inspirations, and experiences and packaging them in a virtual “scrapbook” for her.

So here it is…..the first look of the cover!

Needless to say, we are excited and nervous and proud and nervous and thrilled and a little nervous.

Did I mention we were nervous?

I will share it here first as soon as it’s available on Amazon!  We have the best community (#teamcallie) and I know you all will help us make it a success!

For the women blooming in unexpected places…..

For the women blooming in unexpected places…..

Hi Y'all

Hi, I’m Jaime — writer, mother, storyteller, and the heart behind The Wildflower Edit. For nearly a decade, I wrote online as The Princess and the Prosthetic, sharing my daughter’s journey with disability and the lessons our family learned along the way. It was a beautiful season — full of advocacy, connection, and community — but as my daughter grew older, I felt a shift. She deserved more autonomy. More privacy. More room to decide how she shows up in the world. And I realized something else: My own story was expanding too. Motherhood was still here. Disability was still here. But so were grief, healing, womanhood, nervous system care, feminine energy, homemaking, identity, softness… the fuller, deeper pieces of life that were ready to be spoken aloud. Whether you come for the cozy routines, the motherhood reflections, the disability advocacy, or the soft life inspiration — thank you for choosing to share this space with me. Pour a warm drink. Settle in. Let’s grow a life that feels like you again.

Jaime
